Here at AME Building Services, we offer a wide variety of building and maintenance services in the residential and commercial sectors including full refurbs, structural work, extensions, and loft conversions.
Over the years, we have worked hard to gain the confidence and trust of our clients. The number of successful projects to our name has grown significantly, aided by word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied clients.
We are a VAT-registered company. Our various teams of staff provide excellent support before, during, and after any project including guidance through any planning permission processes. Projects of any size are regularly supervised from start to finish.

Single story extension, wrapped round the side and rear of property.
Very customer orientated builders. Bunch of great lads/lasses working for them. Project was completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. Would definitely use them again. Very trustworthy builders. Had no problem at all leaving them keys to the property whilst we are at work or out for the day. Communication was 2nd to none, always on the ball with what they are planning the following week, keeping us in the loop.
All the preparation work for Bi-Folding door installation. Removing walls, lintel, plastering etcI. would highly recommend this company. They have been brilliant throughout the building work they conducted for us. Everyone who came round was very nice, polite and respectful and the work undertaken was top quality. I can’t fault the work or the workers at all. I did speak with Ayalla from AME on many occasions, and she was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and kept me up to date throughout the process. I am using AME for further work and would recommend to friends and family or anyone reading this review. 10 out of 10!
Renew water damaged bathroom floor, refit shower tray and WC, lay new floor tiles I cannot recommend this Co. Highly enough, from the initial enquiry when, due to the nature of the problem, it was not obvious how much work was/could be involved, right through to the very professional manner in which the job was handled and completed. They prioritized the job, starting asap, all the workmen were very efficient, helpful and friendly, We were kept fully updated at all times and nothing seemed too much trouble. We are very grateful to Ayalla, Avram and David for making what was for us a nightmare situation as stress free as possible and we are very happy with the finished job
Repointing brickwork The job was professional from start to finish, and was completed very quickly. I was refunded a small amount when it was discovered the lintel wouldn't need replacing, which I appreciated. The job was done very quickly and didn't disrupt my day at all. Would definitely recommend to others.

Loft conversion I used ame to do a loft coversion and it went really smooth. They gave us exactly what we asked for and basically kept totally to schedule. A few pipes and artificial things broke during the work. Anything that broke during the work was replaced and fixed immediately. It's unbelievable to see the space they made from very little space by doing ingenius ideas like the shape of the staircase I would so recommend them for the job. They were patient and have great call back if aren't satisfied with something. Really easy to work with. Took all my thoughts, concerns and desires into consideration
Structural work, chimney removal, electrics Very happy with the service provided and quality of work. Helpful secretary to answer any queries. Work done within time frame to a good standard and cleaned up and removed all rubbish.
Rendering and Replacement Roof over Garage and Side Extension AME were friendly and professional from start to finish. When the project was extended due to bad weather conditions, AME stayed in touch and were on site as much as they could. The admin staff were excellent and were very articulate and kept us informed on the progress of the job. All site staff were pleasant and worked professionally. Overall, I am happy with the work AME have done for us.
Storm-damaged shared back yard wall - super quick response for quote from AME Building Services My shared back yard wall was damaged in Storm Arwen (November 2021) and I needed a quote for insurance company and the other party sharing the costs. AME Building Services were quick with a response and talked me through the work, answering my questions professionally and with expertise. Unfortunately they weren't chosen but I would recommend this company for their can-do attitude and reassuring help they gave me during this stressful time.
Yard excavation and block paving and build new steps We were very satisfied with the building work completed in our backyard which was due to the meticulous attention to detail and regular contact and communication with the contractors. Ame has proven to be very conscientious and thorough in their work and their motto seems to be “the main thing is that you’re happy”. As a perfectionist I appreciated the time they took to review and redo certain aspects of the work already done, and all within budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Ame Building Services to anyone who needs building work done efficiently from beginning to end.
Ful Ground Floor Extension 50+ square meters. AME Building, constructed for us a full ground floor extension, 50+ square meters. The whole process was seamless, from the quote to completion. The work was carried out professionally and at a great pace by AME's highly skilled team. The coordination from AME Building concerning the different aspects of the job; from the brickwork all the way to the interior decor, was fabulous. The work was constantly supervised by AME's talented managers and directors. A great company which I would definitely recommend. Thank you AME Building for an amazing job.
Floor joist replacement We had a big issue with a collapsed floor and a gas pipe was crushed as a result. The floor joists had rotted over time. AME provided a professional service and sorted everything out in a timely manner with very clear explanations and replaced a large section of flooring, leaving the property in a much better condition. Could not recommend highly enough!
Kitchen and Dining room wall knocked through, supporting steelwork installed The standard of work was excellent, they were clear and articulate about scope, timings, considerations and costs. AME have a highly experienced team who are clearly very capable. We can't recommend them highly enough and we're delighted with the result!
